Today, the USA decides the fate of the world, particularly Muslim nations, big and small, and it does exactly what it wants in Islamic world and with Muslims. In the face non-opposition to the fascist trends, the US led NATO goes on rampage. Arab nations with abundant energy resources and seek regular flow of petrodollars and hence promote the anti-Islamic interests of American bosses, thereby complicating the lives of global Muslims, destabilizing their nations, losing of their resources.
Libya, a mostly desert and oil-rich country on the southern shores of the Mediterranean Sea with an ancient history, has more recently been renowned for the 42-year rule of the mercurial Col Muammar Qaddafi.
Col Qaddafi called the new system a jamahiriya, loosely translated as a “state of the masses”. After the west backed 1969 coup, Muammar Gaddafi closed American and British bases and partly nationalized foreign oil and commercial interests in Libya.
The real motive behind the NATO invasion of Libya was not just to remove the dictator but under that pretext, destabilize an anti-American nation, loot the energy resources and enslave the people of Libya.
Any other major reason? Yes, Americans, by murdering Qaddafi after assassinating brutally Iraqi president Saddam Hussein let the Islamic world know that USA and its militarism area above them, and even above God.
Libya holds the largest proven oil reserves in Africa and is an important contributor to the global supply of light, sweet crude. Apart from petroleum, the other natural resources are natural gas and gypsum. The International Monetary Fund estimated Libya’s real GDP growth at 122%. Ideas put forward in his Green Book aimed to set forth an alternative to both communism and capitalism. NATO has reason to invade Libya.
When US led NATO rogue nations invaded Libya ostensibly to remove the “dictator” president Qaddafi, world, except the west, thought the people of Libya would get a fair chance of better life once the “dictator” is removed. And the “dictator’ was removed by the most brutal way but Libyan people began to suffer as their nation got destabilized while the general life conditions of all Libyans, except those US agents and families, deteriorated the worst manner.
USA, UK and Israel have taken care to remove from the buds any agitations planned in the country to overthrow the regimes and system. This step is necessary for Washington and Tel Aviv to focus on other nations for destabilization, genocides. Their intelligence wings coordinate their operations globally. And the world at large, especially the Islamic world, is facing the problems. They know anti-Islamism and Islamophobia are at the top gear after the Sept-11 and as such their invasions would get approval and support of these anti-Islamic nations.
In fact, not only anti-Islamic world but even many Muslim nations that look to the west for whatever reason also support the attacks essentially on Islam.
In March 2011, as NATO’s intervention in Libya was getting underway, global dictator and US President Barack Obama sporting an innocent look predicted that Libya would face serious challenges to ensuring stability, a result of what he called 40 years of tyranny that had left “Libya fractured without strong civil institutions.” On 17 March 2011 the notorious UN Security Council passed Resolution 1973 with a 10–0 vote and five abstentions including Russia and China. The resolution sanctioned the establishment of a no-fly zone and the use of “all means necessary” to protect civilians within Libya.
On 19 March, the first act of NATO allies to secure the no-fly zone by destroying Libyan air defenses began when French military jets entered Libyan airspace on a reconnaissance mission heralding attacks on enemy targets. In the weeks that followed, American forces were in the forefront of NATO operations against Libya. More than 8,000 American personnel in warships and aircraft were deployed in the area. At least 3,000 targets were struck in 14,202 strike sorties, 716 of them in Tripoli and 492 in Brega. The American air offensive included flights of B-2 Stealth bombers, each bomber armed with sixteen 2000-pound bombs, flying out of and returning to their base in Missouri on the continental United States.
As usual, Arab nations, led by Saudi Arabia, which is now ready to welcome Muslims from all over the world to spend money n in Saudi Arabia on performing annual Hajj, being adopted as a regular practice by rich Muslims to visit the kingdom year after year and many times for Umrah, is n least bothered about the worst situation in Libya or anywhere else in Islamic world. These, essentially anti-Islamic nations promoting US interests in the region, seek regular flow of petrodollars. That Arab nations just watched the Zionist fascist show in Gaza strip, killing over 2 thousand Palestinians, including children and destroyed buildings, including mosques vividly showcases the contemporary Arab mindset.
Washington’s Jewish Neocons wanted to destabilize Libya by making Libyans kill one another. The CIA-Pentagon duo knew that a NATO war would lead to chaos and destruction that leaves a country little hope of having the ability to forge a democracy. USA wanted exactly that. Violence in Libya, where peaceful governance was in full swing until the Americans invaded their nation with mighty terror goods, has been ongoing since 2011, when the US backed NATO war ousted popular president Muammar Qaddafi. They bombed the country and opened the door for the different militias to now compete against each other. So the day Qaddafi was killed, from then onwards, the militias have basically been at each other’s throats.
That is a crude shame, worse than the Sept-11 hoax by the USA and Israel in order to invade an Islamizing Afghanistan.
The current instability is also a direct result of the NATO intervention itself, which fueled the proliferation of armed militias and heavy weaponry in the country and has contributed to the spread of arms throughout the region. As instability continues to grip Libya, where destabilization, deteriorating the Libyan situation that could lead towards civil war in the country, has now further deepened since NATO’s illegal bombing in 2011. Heavy fighting broke out in July between rival militias vying for control of Libya’s main airport, killing at least seven people and forcing a halt of all flights in the worst fighting in the capital for six months. Libya’s United Nations Ambassador Ibrahim Dabbashi told the UN Security Council last week that the situation in Libya is complicated. Yet the situation since the 13th of July has become even more complicated and the situation might unravel into a full-blown civil war.
Over 450 people have been killed as a result of the violence in August alone, and in its briefer on the situation in the country that the “conflict is growing ever more savage and civilian casualties are mounting”. Estimates of deaths in the Libyan civil war vary with figures over 25,000 given between March 2 and October 2, 2011. An exact figure is hard to ascertain, partly due to a media clamp-down by the post-Qaddafi Libyan government. In the end, according to the numbers presented, a total of 14,572 to 19,873 deaths have been reported. Obviously USA and its intelligence wings do not let the sources to reports all deaths and force them to provide only small estimates so that history does not accuse the educated Americans as being cold blood drinkers. .
In the 1990s, the Libyan state was cracking down against the Islamists, brutally, inside the prison, killing 200 people inside a prison. At that time, the United States didn’t say very much. During the 2000s, when the USA was exporting prisoners to Libyan jails to be tortured by Qaddafi regime, nobody said a thing. The White House used extraordinary rendition, brought in members of the Libyan Islamic Fighting Group, including one senior fighter whose wife was several months pregnant. They were caught in Malaysia, brought to Tripoli.
They were hand-delivered by a British plane. So, the violence has been there in Libya for a long time. Humanitarian concerns were mentioned at the Security Council meeting, when outgoing United Nations envoy to Libya Tarek Mitri stressed the disproportionate toll violence has taken on the civilian population. There is a general deterioration of living conditions. Food, fuel, water and electricity are in short supply. The departure of foreign medical staff and shortages in medical supplies has rendered the plight of civilians more critical. No military solution is possible. In October 2011, the main opposition group, the National Transitional Council (NTC), declared the country to be officially “liberated” and pledged to turn Libya into a pluralist, democratic state. In August 2012, the NTC handed over power to Libya’s newly elected parliament, the General National Congress.
The NATO undid the fame of great freedom struggle waged by Omar Mukhtar the leader of Libyan resistance in Cyrenaica against the Italian colonization.
Libya is closer than ever to becoming a split country, with two parliaments claiming legitimacy; one in the north-eastern city of Tabruk, the other in the Libyan capital Tripoli, both with their own prime ministers and governments. But that situation is in flux, as Prime Minister Abdullah al-Thinni announced his resignation. His cabinet issued a statement to the new parliament stating that it hopes the new body will create “a new government that represents all Libyan factions without exclusion. The Islamist-linked militia which seized the capital, Tripoli, last week has called for the elected MPs to be replaced by the previous body, the General National Congress (GNC).The Associated Press also reports that militias in Tripoli had accepted a ceasefire call by the UN. As a major escalation of a regional power struggle set off by Arab Spring revolts Egypt and the United Arab Emirates, both US allies, of carrying out two airstrikes in recent days targeting militia groups vying for control over Tripoli. It seems USA is not happy.
Of course, by writing this one can’t expect any fundamental change in Arab mindset because Arabs essentially endured a slave mentality which they don’t want to change just for Islam or Muslims. However, if there ever happens a visible shift in Arab mindset, one can hope for renaissance in Islamic world.
US media lords cry loud about dictatorship if a Muslim ruler refuses to promote US interests in the country or any region but they pretend unaware of dictatorial war strategies of Washington and Tel Aviv to destabilize and weaken Islamic world, defame Islam.
