Riyadh, Saudi Arabia: “Tamil Nadu Thowheed Jamath – TNTJ”, Riyadh Chapter, recently organized 42nd Mega Blood Donation Camp to mark 67th Indian Republic Day. The blood donation camp was held on Friday 22nd January 2016 in co-ordination with “King Fahd Medical City – KFMC”. A total of 225 persons took part in the campaign and donated 184 units of blood.
KFMC Lab Team led by Mr. James provided full support to TNTJ volunteers. Saud Al Anazi, Laboratory Director, thanked TNTJ organizers for organizing such kind of noble work continuously.
TNTJ Blood Donation campaign Co-ordinator Mr. Haja mydeen said that, so far the organistiaon has conducted 41 camps. “TNTJ continues to be number one organization for the last 10 years and the hospital authorities have bestowed more than 15 awards to TNTJ praising the noble contribution. By the grace of almighty Allah, Riyadh TNTJ also continues to be number one on the voluntary blood donation campaign in the Gulf country,” informed Mr. Haja.
The TNTJ has received a number of awards from Saudi Arabia;s Ministry of Health and the Tamil Nadu Government.
Riyadh TNTJ President Irshad Ahmed said that TNTJ has been regularly organizing voluntary blood donation campaign also for the emergency requirements for Umrah & Haj Season. “We conduct these camps according to the verse of Noble Quran Chapter 5 verse 32 “Whoever saves a life will be as if he has saved entire mankind” which will create social harmony and razes hatred among Muslim and Islam. Also it will develop India-Saudi diplomatic relationship,” he said.
