Patna: AL-SGO, an NGO based in Bihar, celebrated Republic Day in presence of more than 200 children of lower strata, orphanage and those living in urban slums.
Post flag hoisting program was full of continuous presentation from the children. Among the various presentations included songs, Desh Bhakti Geet, Skit on Alcohol Ban/ Human Chain, Group singing, Drama and Dance during the day-long program.
AL-SGO tried their best to provide a platform to all the privileged and needy children to show their talent, share their bliss and celebrate the Republic Day with mainstream people.
Dr. Md. Tanwir Alam addressed the gathering and delivered a lecture on the importance of the day. A doctors team from Govt. Tibbiya College & Hospital led by Dr Waish Ahmad made their best efforts to make the program memorable.
Blankets were distributed among the poor children. More than 50 children got certificate for securing their position in various events organised on this historic day.
